An illustration of some odd beast was found carefully painted on the stone wall of an old structure, leaving the ones who discovered it in confusion. It didn't match records of any flora or fauna of the local area, nor images of old gods worshipped by the inhabitants. So, what was it? It couldn't have been  imaginary. At least- not to whoever drew it. There was too much detail and effort, as well as evident faint smudges where the illustrator had struggled to get the anatomy correct.

Whoever had placed the picture did not want this entity to be forgotten, even after they were long passed.
