His tough exterior is easy to overlook when he speaks about his passion for giving young hozei-zumi the chance to live peacefully, free from any dirty looks or disapproving glares or insults shouted across the street. He is fiercely protective of anyone under his roof, whichever one it may be.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Background</p> <p>What Hiroto knows about his birth parents is barely enough to fill a piece of A4 paper, he doesn't remember their faces or voices as he was taken from them at less than 9 months old. He was taken by an organisation that &lsquo;researches&rsquo; Hozei-Zumi. The organisation's lab was raided and destroyed by a group of hozei-zumi and Hiroto was saved, but his parents were nowhere to be found so he was taken in by Atama and Hina Tokage, two of the people responsible for the raid on the lab.
