The answer is crying in the corner of my house with this fricking laptop on my lap open on this file. God damn this file forever. This was also a school assignment for a course I'm doing so might as well pour my heart and soul into it :3 I'm not even going to write much about it- I'm just ready to say I'm done with this tbh. But not without a little character description :33 So this is Ryūlan, but to those who know her; she goes by the name Lullaby. She's a timeless wisp spirit who guides souls to the afterlife and collects souls from bodies of those who don't want to give up their souls just yet. She can extract souls and manipulate spiritual energy, giving her the ability to possess or strip those unworthy or guilty of their souls. Lullaby got her name from her ability to enter into the dreams of those soon to die or dying to encourage them to let go of their souls and come with her.  Lullaby is a flute player and will use this skill to help calm restless spirits or her wisps. Though she comes off extremely sensitive and understanding, she's a powerful being capable of extreme acts and is not easily persuaded.  She loves the night sky, auroras and the smell of rain. Name: Cynder Formal Name: Gender: female Age: 24 Height: 13'4" Mastery: Master over Wind, shadow, poison, fear and fire. Elemental (class 10) Occupation: Architecture  Status: Alive Orientation: bisexual Social status: married Family: Lumator (father) Rhysera (mother) unknown (siblings)  Unified: Spyro  Backstory: Born to an unlikely pairing, Cynder was born to a wind dragoness mother and a Shadow dragon father, her mother Rhysera was from the Wind dragon city of Zephyr on Shrouded Reach while her father came from the Dark Lands, his actual home is unknown. Yet they could not enjoy their happiness as Malefor's forces moved closer towards their hiding place, along with an earth dragon and a fire dragoness together they fended off the forces, handing Cynder's egg over to one of her mother's friends, they perished in the battle, yet they saved the lives of everyone else and their eggs. Cynder was one of three eggs from the clutch, though she never saw any other hatchlings from her family. Soon her adopted family had eggs of their own, they moved towards War's Peak to teleport to Cliffwall. Before they left they gave Cynder a small pocket outside the city of Warfang, leaving her to fend for herself due to them unable to take her with them. Seven years later she has made a small home out of her cave, scavenging for food, yet one hunting a group of apes, she met a purple dragon named Spyro, she has known him to share the same hunting area as she did. Leaving him there she went to the market in the city, only to meet him again as he had bought the last of the merchants blanket, something she was after, she was surprised when he gave it to her. Leaving the city for home, only to be ambushed by a much larger group of apes, one she had help dealing with as Spyro help only to accidentally injure her, he then took her to his place to treat her injury. After a few weeks they slowly became friends only for an invasion of the town of Thornmarch, helping stop the invasion, the guardians heard of their victory and summoned them to the temple of Titan Fields. After some basic training their first mission was to clear out a cave in the Northern Mountains being used as an apes HQ, there they meet a lightning dragoness around their age, and a Wind dragon about a year older, both saying a beast laid inside the cave. Proceeding to finish the mission, they were led by the lightning dragoness named Lynerus, once the cave was cleared of apes, Terris woken up the beast. They escaped by the assistance of a cloaked figure killing the beast. After that their new allies followed them back to the temple. Under the tutelage of the guardians, she developed her elements further finding out she had more than one element, able to wield fire, the element she learned on her time alone, along with wind, shadow, and poison were in her claws and tail-tip. After her first year when she and Spyro were going to confess their feelings, Terris kidnapped the young dragoness and took her to the Mountain of Malefor, where Gaul corrupted Cynder with his dark magic, transforming her into a corrupted adult version of herself, with a few new abilities such as fear and convexity. Over four years Cynder has brought chaos and destruction to the Dragon realm, relentlessly attacking the city of Warfang, dwindling their army, it wasn't until months later Spyro had battled her in her fortress in Concurrent Skies. Once the battle was over, her internal battle had only begun, attacking Spyro whenever she was near him, it time before she remembered him and came back to her senses, and began to help fight the darkness she had helped bring to the world. She had to hide many times as many civilians and knights wished to kill her for what she had done. During the night of the eclipse she was drawn back to the Mountain as a strange call preyed upon her fear and Spyro chased her, once she had re-entered the mountain fortress, Gaul had her chained up and forced to battle Spyro before Gaul knocked her unconscious after a failed attack. Spyro defeated the Ape King, saving them by imprisoning them in a time crystal as the mountain collapsed around them. After three months of imprisonment, they were found and returned to the temple, learning all that has transpired before helping their friends battle the growing darkness, as more forces had emerged after the Night of Eternal Darkness. It was not long until Malefor's forces began the siege on Warfang. After Warfang was cleared of enemies she and the others faced off against the golem of the deep, once the battle was won, many wanted the arrest of the young group of dragons for the damage they have been causing not just in the city but world wide, and they were with the exception of Lynerus, Spyro and Aquaris, that were not there during the battle but helped form a rescue party to save their captured comrades with the aid of Allan. Once they were free it was a few weeks later before the Destroyer, was surfaced. Calling on all the tribe leaders and the Elder Guardians they formed a plan to hopefully slow the planet destroyer down for the young dragons to kill it. While the others destroyed the crystals on the body, her and Spyro went inside the beast, moving through the many caverns flowing with lava before coming to the heart. After destroying the heart they flew as fast as they could out of the beast, only to watch in utter shock as Malefor re-animated the corpse a few days later and dragged it across the ring of fire, she watched as her friends bombarded it with elemental strikes to no avail, with the ring complete she dread what was next as did the others, face Malefor. Coming to the floating islands she and Spyro arrived before the team and began lighting the torches that opened the path to Malefor's lair, there she confessed she was scared to face the dragon of her nightmares and he comforted her and with the team behind them they made their way to his lair, with the team behind them they made their way to his lair only to be tossed out by his magic, leaving Spyro and Cynder alone. From his lair, to the sky, and down the volcano that held the destroyer, further down to the core of the planet, they battled the Dark Master until his defeat by the hands of the ancestors and she watched as an ancestor reached out to Spyro before he taped into his full power to rebuild the world, confessing her feelings for him. Once the world was saved she and Spyro woke up in the Valley of Avalar before they revealed their feeling for one another, staying in the Valley of Avalar to recover some of their strength, spend time with each other and time for him to heal from his wound. After they recovered they returned home to a heroes welcome, many came up to a scared Cynder with Spyro protecting her as many apologized to her for many threats they made against her, she and Spyro were gifted many trinkets. Once they came of age they were married to one another, with Lynerus and Caelus as their best dragon and dragoness making it the largest unification in Warfang, they stayed in the city for a couple of months, but with many wanting to get a peak at them, they moved outside the city into a custom made home, Allan had helped pay for and helped build the home. They stayed in contact with Caelus and Lynerus, being their best dragon and dragoness for their wedding a few months later. They were pleased they accepted the quiet life away from the city, enjoying the privacy and quiet. This is my back story to Cynder in my fanfic, please respect it may differ from the story we know her from.

Rumors started to spread and they had to hide their egg with an illusion spell, as many said a new world destroyer was born, and it brought the ape army towards their town of Fire Talon, East of Warfang. Moving North with another group of dragons, they along with a wind dragoness and a shadow dragon battled the ape forces, handing Spyro's egg to a friend of the family that knew their secret, together all four dragons unleashed their fury attack to remove the threat, ending their lives in the process as well. It was not long before the apes came for the refugees, Spyro's adoptive mother had him sheltered in a pocket in a small hill, her daughter would spent time with him but soon they fled towards War's Peak leaving Spyro to fend for himself and to avoid the searching apes. Seven years later he had dug deeper into the hill so none could find him, scavenging around the woods for food, and hunting apes, using whatever coin they had to buy what he needed to stay warm, hunting a group of apes he encountered a dark blue dragoness named Cynder, he thought she was beautiful but she treated him like the others did, a freak, he shared the same hunting space as she did. Once the group was gone he left for the city to buy a new blanket, only to bump into Cynder again as she needed the blanket, he gave her his blanket yet he followed her, helping her get out of an ambush of a much larger group of apes, revealing he can dual wield elements only to accidentally injure her, he then took her to his place to treat her injury. After a few weeks they slowly became friends only for an invasion of the town of Fire Talon, helping stop the invasion, they stayed in the hospital to recover from the minor wounds they suffered while the guardians heard of their victory and summoned them to the temple of Titan Fields. After some information that he was a rare dragon and able to wield all elements Spyro went through the basic training with each guardian, Ignitus of the fire element, Volteer of electricity, Terrador of the earth element, and Cyril of the Ice element. Their first mission was to clear out a cave in the Northern Mountains being used as an apes HQ, there they meet a lightning dragoness around their age, and a Wind dragon about a year older, both saying a beast laid inside the cave. Over four years Spyro had trained relentlessly to get Cynder back from Gaul's clutches, his first encounter with Cynder as a corrupted adult, she rendered him nearly useless after blasting him with her new fear ability, leaving him scared and scrambling through the city as she chased him. After a two months of training himself to get use to her new fear strike with the aid of Allan, their cloaked figure, he went to Concurrent Skies to battle Cynder. Once the battle was over,Spyro brought her back to the temple but only to avoid her as she would attack him whenever she was near him, as Ignitus told him she needed to find herself again, after a while he took her to a special spot that they only know where she found herself again. He helped to hide her whenever they were in the city or in towns they were needed in many civilians and knights wished to kill Cynder for what she had done. During the night of the eclipse Cynder was drawn back to the Mountain as a strange call preyed upon her fear and Spyro chased her in rage that Gaul was not done with her, entering the mountain fortress Spyro battled his way half way before coming to his senses before carefully made his way to Gaul's throne room, there he battled Cynder before Gaul knocked her unconscious after a failed attack. Spyro then proceeded to battle the ape King, falling into a beam of Convexity during the height of the eclipse awoke a darkness in the purple dragon and in his dark form he defeated the Ape King, it was Cynder that saved him from falling further into this new darkness before he saved them by imprisoning them in a time crystal as the mountain collapsed around them. After three months of imprisonment, they were found and brought back to the temple, learning all that has transpired as new threat formed from corrupted city guards and retired military members were after them for the “destruction” they were causing, before helping their friends battle the growing darkness.
