Draekana - Eras
The Beginning: This spans from when Draekana was first created to the Chaotic Era. The era was peaceful as Raksha first created the terrain, lush forests, sandy deserts, muddy swamps and more. He then created dragons, smaller draconic creatures that could live on Draekana. Other, smaller gods were born from Raksha's powers and watched over Draekana as it grew, some of them coming down to interact with it's people. Then, the God of Chaos and Ruin, Relgimous, got into an argument with the God of Creation and Order, Aviya. Using his powers inhereted from Raksha, Relgimous attacked and killed Aviya while Raksha was away and took the intelligence away from the denizens of Draekana, turning them into mindless, violent creatures and starting the Chaotic Era.
The Chaotic Era: The Chaotic Era spans from the end of the Beginning to the beginning of the Revolutionary Era. This era was full of nothing but violence. Being a Major God, none of the Minor Gods could fight Relgimous and they eventually left Draekana before they were killed as well. During this time, Draconians that inhereted the mental resilience of the Minor Gods woke up and fought against Relgimous. When the Minor Gods took notice of this fight, they returned and came together to seal Relgimous deep in the core of Draekana. Afterwards, the Minor Gods though it best to leave Draekana be without their interference and the descendents of those Gods ushered in the Revolutionary Era.
The Revolutionary Era: The Revolutionary Era spans from the end of the Chaotic Era to the beginning of the Warring Era. This era was full of positive action. The descendents of the Gods became known as Elders, and by sealing away Relgimous, they returned intellect to the denizens of Draekana. The Elders told the newly awoken Draconians of what had transpired, distorting the tale to leave out the existence of Gods, and took leadership over them. They split Draekana into 8ths and started to revitalize the land based on their elemental preferences. Civilization started to rebuild but further conflict was unavoidable. Territorial fighting, sparked from left over raw instincts from the Chaotic Era, started a continent wide war between the regions, even reaching even the Elders and starting the Warring Era.
The Warring Era: The Warring Era, also known as the Regional War, spans from the end of the Revolutionary Era to the beginning of the Era of Peace. This era was filled with conflict. Tensions between the 8 regions were high and conflict and distrust ran high between the different classes of Draconian. Admist it all, a cultist organization set on destroying the world to relieve Draekan of it's horrible conflict spanning centuries arose, calling themselves Eskillon. They set their sights on the Elemental Crystals left behind by the First Elders when they passed and combining ther energies to create a black hole and swallowing Draekana. A rebel group of draconians from all regions took charge and defeated Eskillon, led by a dark class named Laktyrn. After winning against Eskillon, Laktyrn worked with the current Elders to end the war and create a 9th region to help govern the other 8 and lead Draekana into the Era of Peace.
The Era of Peace: The Era of Peace spans from the end of the Warring Era to the beginning of the Era of Alignment. This era was the most tranquil in terms of national violence and the longest one, lasting for several centuries while the others only lasted one or two. Life prospered and minor conflicts arose here and there, but civilization managed to grow tremendously without issue. Eventually, after a long vacation, a couple of the Minor Gods returned to Draekana and created religions with the new Draconians, leading to the Era of Alignment.
The Era of Alignment: The Era of Alignment, also known as the Second Warring Era and the Religious War, spans from the end of the Era of Peace to the Present Day. This era, although called a war, is much less violent than the first Warring Era. The Solstice Gods, Irridium and Lumina, revisited Draekana and started to spread their influence upon its citizens. Irridium created Benevolence, the religion worshipping him and the sun, and Lumina created Malevolence, the religion worshipping her and the moon. The two alignments clashed constantly, each fiercely protective of their respective dieties. Although tensions between the two ran high, they learned to be vicious neighbors rather than vicious soldiers. Benevolents greatly out populate Malevolents and Avelents (those that don't worship gods) and as such have become the more influential and common religion and turning Malevolence into an outcast religion.
