The region of Theralis consists mostly of open fields, sparse trees but tall mountains. There's constantly high winds and heavy rain, making life there harsh. Towns and cities are made of sturdy rocks from inside the mountains to withstand the constant harsh weather. The capital was built at the top of the tallest mountain in the region, slightly hidden inside the raging clouds, but above them enough to not be bothered by the weather.

Residents usually consist of Thunder Dragons, Storm Dragons and the like. Such dragons are stronger during harsh storms and storm related natural disasters. They are very brash and short tempered. They constantly argue and love to pick fights. They are strong willed and stubborn and always make things a competition. Theralis also houses a small number of Sky Dragons and Earth Dragons, who don't mind the constant turmoil of the skys.

Summary: As the Elder of the Thunder Element, Theralis created the different weather and the seasons of Draekana. He was short tempered, easy to rile up and quick to turn everything into a competition and he granted Draconian's with strong teeth and claws. Despite being an Elder, he supported underground fight competitions and even hosted some of his own. On the surface, he was the creator of sports, usually speed based race type sports, and hosted many continent wide competitions. When Theralis passed, his horns were turned into the Elemental Crystal of Thunder, then made into a trophy given to the champion of the anual Thunder Race competition.
